Fundraiser for Eastwood Middle School Student

A COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) fundraiser has been organized in honor of Lorin Grimes, an Eastwood Middle School 7th grader who is battling Cystic Fibrosis.  Dinner ($10), games, prizes and raffle will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.at the St. Jerome Church in Walbridge, Ohio.  Click here for the event flyer and more information.


Eastwood Boys Basketball - A Great Season Comes to an End

Congratulations to Coach Routson and the Boys Basketball Team for an outstanding season.  Their hard work and dedication earned them a 2014-2015 District Championship title!  

Coach Routson extends a sincere thank you to the Eastwood community for all the support.  Go Eagles!  


7th/8th Grade Quiz Bowl Team - County Champions

Congratulations goes out to the 7th and 8th grade Quiz Bowl team who charged through the brackets in the tournament on March 17!  They won against Otsego 144-42 in the first round, won against Bowling Green Christian  116 to 22 in the second round, and for the championship they defeated Elmwood 94-44.  The 2015 County Championship team members are  Liz Arntson, Holden Browning, Jack Chappuies,  David Deniston, Josh Hahn, Alissa Ray, Lewis Rowan, and Aidan Powell.  It was a great team effort and a fantastic job!

Welcome to Eastwood Locals Schools

Eastwood Local Schools has earned an Excellent or Excellent with Distinction rating since 2007. Overall, the district's Performance Index ranks with the best in Northwest Ohio, and the district performance exceeds its similar district grouping as assigned by the Ohio Department of Education.

Students at Eastwood have access to a strong preparatory curriculum that enables them to move to life after high school. Eastwood High School students enjoy numerous math and science courses that qualify for dual credit through a partnership with the University of Findlay. Students also access to Post-Secondary Options classes through Bowling Green State University and Owens Community College. Finally, Eastwood students have the chance to attend Penta Career Center which is one of the most state of the art Joint Vocational Schools in Ohio.
