4th Grade Musical

On Tuesday, November 14th,  Pemberville 4th Graders presented the very first musical performance at the new Eastwood Elementary School building. Titled “Compose Yourself, “ the play told the story of modern school children who were writing reports on famous composers of the past. Statues of the composers, such and Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart and Brahms, came to life and taught the students about their music. Then, the modern students introduced the composers to rap music.  By the end of the story, the modern students enjoyed and appreciated the music of the composers of the Baroque, Classical and Romantic time periods.

Luckey Field Day Postponed Until May 8th

Luckey Field Day Monday, May 8th

We are going to postpone our Field Day from Thursday, May 4th until Monday, May 8th. With looking at the forecast for the rest of the week, there is a very good chance of rain on Thursday and we wanted to give our parents as much notice as possible. We know that this may be an inconvenience and we apologize, but with the advance notice, hopefully you are able to change your plans. Unfortunately the weather doesn't seem to be cooperating this year.

Our plan is to hold our Luckey Field Day on Monday and then be able to still run our District Field Day on Friday, the 12th. If our plans have to change due to weather for the District Field Day, then the rain date for District Field Day is Monday, the 15th.
