Looking for Volunteers for an OMA Art Therapy Program in conjunction with Otterbein Senior Living Community

Mrs. Moorman is looking for students who want to work with residents at Otterbein Senior Living Community in conjunction with Miami University OMA art therapy program. The program is implemented in group sessions: students will be working with seniors with dementia, one day a week (TBA) with the assistance of trained volunteers working on a one-to-one basis. The art-making sessions culminate in a gallery exhibition celebrating the artists’ accomplishments while educating the public about the creative capacities of people with dementia.
