National Attention for Eastwood 7th Graders
(an update on a news post from early December 2013)
The video produced by Mrs. Swartz's Honors Science students is now on a national blog! Created to accompany a poster presentation at the TMACOG Student Watershed Watch (SWW) Summit, the video summarized data gathered by students during their Portage River water testing project. Katie Rousseau, one of the judges for the SWW Summit presentations, is the Associate Director of Clean Water Program Conservation for American Rivers; a nonprofit organization that leads efforts to improve the health of America's rivers. Ms. Rousseau was so impressed with the creativity of the Eastwood students that she posted the video on the American Rivers blog Congratulations to Mrs. Swartz and her students!
