Superintendent's Message

1.18.22

Dear Community Members:

We return to school tomorrow, and hope that we will begin to see some slowing of cases. I do not have much to share on that front today, but there are three announcements that I have been asked to share. I am sure I will be back to you later this week.

ONE QUICK NOTE TO START

You have been very helpful in keeping sick kids home. As we come back from this brief break, please continue to keep students who are ill or have been exposed to family members at home until you can be assured that they do not have symptoms. Many of you have been testing kids, and we are very grateful for that. It will hopefully keep the spread down as much as possible.

Again, my thanks to those of you who followed that last week. We still have to pull together in the hopes that cases will begin to lessen in the next couple of weeks.

NHS SPAGHETTI SUPPER

The National Honor Society is moving the annual Spaghetti Supper back to February 12th. We have a make-up game at home vs. Fostoria that night. If you need to get a refund for an already purchased ticket, please contact an NHS member or the advisors Karen Smoyer ksmoyer@eastwoodschools.org, or Stephanie Sims at ssims@eastwoodschools.org.
