Superintendent's Message

Family Week this year will be set for March 7-11. We plan to run the week like we did in 2020 minus the shutdown that occurred at the end.
The goal will be similar to the previous week and that is to get families together to re-energize, reconnect, and rebuild. It is also a week for you to do the same. Having the time at night to sit back and relax with family and friends is critical to filling your tank. We know how hard it gets in the spring, and we never really did get the chance to see any of the fruits from our work in 2020 because of the shutdown. I do think we were having a great year and building momentum for the final stretch.
We know that there will have to be a couple of exceptions due to things on the calendar like the Musical. However, we will look to end all activities by 6:00 at the latest and there will be no homework that week.
We need to plan some ideas for the week to share with families like we did the last time.
If you are interested in helping to plan some of the activities, there will be a meeting on Monday January 31st at 3:45 in the Bus Garage. Please consider volunteering to help with nightly themes for families.
