Vote for Eastwood Middle School to Win Photo Contest

The students in each Academic Assist Class at EMS made scarecrows for Red Ribbon Week to "SCARE AWAY DRUGS!"   Photos of these amazing scarecrows have been entered into the 9th Annual National Red Ribbon Contest.  Your vote will help the school's bid to win $1,000.00 to be used to promote a positive, drug-free school!  You may vote one time each day through November 15th.

Cast your vote on the Red Ribbon Week contest page.  You will be prompted to add your email to limit illegal voting, then click 'VOTE'.  Revisit the web page the next day to vote again.  Thank you for your support!

Spirit of Eastwood Art/ Photography Contest
The Key Club is hosting a photography/ art contest. To enter, your photos/ artwork must meet the following criteria:
 
  • The photo/ art must capture the spirit of Eastwood. Some examples of this would be pictures of sporting or community events, photos of the campus, pictures of events/ clubs, or anything else creative that captures our spirit. 

  • Pictures/ artwork must be school appropriate. 

  • Pictures must be printed out and be five by seven; an electronic copy may be requested to enlarge the picture. Artwork can be submitted in whatever form it can best be displayed in.

  • All pictures/ artwork must be given to Mrs. Howard with a name and phone number on the back by November 22nd, 2019.

The winner will be voted upon by Eastwood Students and members of the community.  The winning submission will be displayed prominently at the high school, and the winner will receive a gift card. Please email Mrs. Howard at thoward@eastwoodschools.org with any questions. Eastwood Alumni Association and Eagle Way Hall of Fame Updates

Eastwood EagleThe Eastwood Alumni Association encourages all Eastwood alumni and interested community members to join the EAA. Your $20 lifetime membership fee supports student scholarships and allows you to nominate and vote for Eagle Way Hall of Fame members.

Click on the Alumni tab located in the top right corner to learn more about the Eastwood Alumni Association and to check out the bios of the 29 current members of the Eagle Way Hall of Fame. 

Monthly meeting times and locations, membership forms, and Eagle Way Hall of Fame nomination forms can be found by clicking on the Alumni tab.

Members may vote for the 2020 Eagle Way Hall of Fame nominees at Denny Henline's Hometown Realty on Monday, Dec. 2 from 5 - 7; Wedn., Dec. 4 from 2 - 4; and Thurs., Dec. 5 from 4:30 - 6:30. On-line voting begins the week of Nov. 18.
