Board of Education Meeting Agenda 1.24.22

Eastwood January 24th, 2022 BOE Meeting Agenda

Superintendent's Message

1.18.22

Family Week this year will be set for March 7-11. We plan to run the week like we did in 2020 minus the shutdown that occurred at the end.

The goal will be similar to the previous week and that is to get families together to re-energize, reconnect, and rebuild. It is also a week for you to do the same. Having the time at night to sit back and relax with family and friends is critical to filling your tank. We know how hard it gets in the spring, and we never really did get the chance to see any of the fruits from our work in 2020 because of the shutdown. I do think we were having a great year and building momentum for the final stretch.

Superintendent's Message

1.18.22

Dear Community Members:

We return to school tomorrow, and hope that we will begin to see some slowing of cases. I do not have much to share on that front today, but there are three announcements that I have been asked to share. I am sure I will be back to you later this week.

ONE QUICK NOTE TO START

You have been very helpful in keeping sick kids home. As we come back from this brief break, please continue to keep students who are ill or have been exposed to family members at home until you can be assured that they do not have symptoms. Many of you have been testing kids, and we are very grateful for that. It will hopefully keep the spread down as much as possible.
